- put all your body and punch into the shot and follow through
- close to the goal as a warm-up, get your release point & wrist snap gauged -both hands
– finding that balance of the snap with the stick’s pocket
– use your wrist always
- get good base and get power from your hips & below
– rotate the hips
– follow through the back leg coming over on and through over to the front leg
Finding the right balance of having the right pocket (whipped or high-wall) and the wrist snap, and motion is not easy and it’s a challenge — many hours of practice and trial & error. And it’s unique to every player.
